Roll20 Tutorial - Pulling NPC monsters from the SRD and setting up tokens

A Quick tutorial on how we pull monsters included in the Dungeons and Dragons SRD (Systems Reference Document - the Open Source 5e rules, think Player's Handbook Free Edition) that is included in Roll20 and setup their tokens. The SRD allows you quick access to everything you need to get started with 5e.

Geeky Gifts: Bag of Many Dice

It's Christmastime, or in this Grumpy Old DM's case, first birthdaytime, then Christmastime, and this year Grumpy Old DM's Wife presented him with an AWESOME Birthday present: a Bag of Many Dice!
At first I had no idea what this odd little bag was... but I should share why one would need a Bag of Many Dice! - time for an embarrassing Grumpy Old DM picture!
Yep that's right, I'm not proud of it, but my current dice management system is nothing more than a bunch of Ziplock snack baggies in the ever popular Crown Royal bag. So you can see why Grumpy Old DM's Wife would want to help me erase the shame of dropping these on the table every time we play our favorite RPGs.

The new bag is utterly awesome, and incredibly well made, when opened it provides mini pouches for your dice sets (you know for those of us with a bit of OCD that don't like dice all thrown together in a harem of dice)
As you can see, the version I received is the 6 pouch bag, but the middle pouch also holds my Dice Hard metal set as well! Apparently each bag is made to order and by another DM's wife, or so I guess by her business card in my order as the item comes from The DM's Wife RPG Shop (no not my wife, some other DM's Wife, yeah it's a bit confusing). Apparently she also makes the bag in Colossal Size (of course my OCD self would never intermix dice, but your mileage may different).

I'd highly recommend these fantastic handmade gifts if you are looking for a unique gift for any RPG player in your life.

Feel free to visit her site: And tell her the Grumpy Old DM sent you!
